Indian River Medical Center wanted something more than your typical donor recognition signage for their award winning Scully-Welsch Cancer Center. We designed an abstract landscape, comprised of over 600 kiln-formed and hand-painted individual glass plaques that are installed on a black granite wall. As new donations are received, the names are depth carved into the glass and painted white. The plaques are mounted using a custom designed concealed hardware giving the appearance the glass is simply floating on the granite wall.
